PHYSICALS FOR ADULTS
A comprehensive annual physical exam can help adults screen for illness, and is vital for monitoring chronic and acute illnesses such as hypertension (high blood pressure), high cholesterol, diabetes, and endocrine and thyroid issues.
In addition, an employer may require a pre-employment physical exam as part of an occupational medical exam. No appointment is necessary for physicals and exams performed at 217 Immediate Care and most are covered by major insurance carriers.
CAMP | SCHOOL| SPORTS PHYSICALS
Kids and adolescents often require physicals for camp, school or sports activities. You should understand that these standard physicals are not the comprehensive annual or periodic physicals typically conducted by your primary care physician.
For children and teens, physicals are a must for a number of reasons:
- School physicals
- Sports physicals
- Camp physicals
Parents please bring the following items to the examination:
- Signed “Consent to Examination” form completed by adult
- Complete medical history
- Official immunization records
- Comfortable clothing
- Payment for examination accepted in the form of cash or credit card
Many professional drivers are required to obtain physicals regularly. Our certified practitioners make it easy for commercial drivers to fulfill Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements. However, DOT Physicals should never be a replacement for annual wellness exams.
To comply with federal law, a qualified medical examiner must complete your DOT physical form. All of our providers are qualified. Our medical professionals will review your medical history and ask you to list the medications you take on a regular basis.
