Jim Cornett graduated in 2001 from Midwestern in Downer’s Grove, IL. Jim holds a Master’s of Medical Science (MMS) in physician assistant studies. Jim is certified through NCCPA and is a certified examiner for the NRCME. Jim works as a Physicians’ Assistant (PA-C) working at 217 Immediate Care and SafeWorks Illinois.
Jim’s diverse background gives him the ability to approach patient care from multiple perspectives. In addition to his expertise in evidence-based medicine, Jim also has a keen interest in orthopedics. Jim has been married for twenty-two years, has five children and enjoys playing tennis and running. He enjoys working in the medical field and believes in the acute care setting. He also believes it is critical to provide education and a holistic approach to health maintenance by helping each patient to maximize physical and mental health. Education is key to empower the patient by providing knowledge that will enable an individual to become an active and productive participant in their care.
